East Africa Streetmaps v1 includes more than 16 000 Points of Interest (POI), comprehensive coverage for the main cities in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, and a host of regional towns.

East Africa Streetmaps v1 introduces seamless travel throughout the 3 countries in East Africa’
“Our main focus in developing Southern East Streetmaps v1, “was to extend our range of Street level data into Africa. We did not include the detailed street numbers for the East Africa towns and cities, as are difficult to locate and identify. yA.sF=TNM

“What have however provided users a ‘navigating from here to there’ tool based on the ability to locate the lowest number at the beginning of each segment (street). Once you find the beginning of a street, finding the relevant address in a particular street is not that difficult. Most of the smaller towns have only one or two significant streets and once you find them, they will take you to the major Points of Interest in that particular town
“We sent field workers to each of these countries to verify data, and in the process we picked up a lot of Points of Interest on the regional roads and in the towns themselves.”

East Africa Streetmaps v1 includes comprehensive Street details for Nairobi, Kampala and Dar Es Salaam as well as a number of smaller cities and towns, 92 000km of routable tar and gravel road data, and a tool to differentiate between tar and untarred road conditions.

There are some things that one can never say thank you enough, for the one who made this possible, for the one who uploaded the links, etc. Being a person who lives in Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa, I certainly do appreciate the good work. I hope that I will be able to edit the map on MapSource so as to be able to customise things a bit for myself.

    Once again Thanks.
