Really works. Just tested it in Shanghai... works perfecctly on my 200W bought in US. Thanks a million. Challenge now is, any one has the speed traps files for PRC ??? :-)

This has been working in my N97 great for a while now so tried installing it on my 268 which has been running GMXT fine in the uk but only with old maps in China complete with offset. in my mio it will not show the detailed map just the base map and if i zoom in it just shows overzoom and will not show any detail. in settings it shows the map on my sd card as unlocked but the detailed map just will not show.

any ideas anyone?

do not mean to confuse anyone. i only put the maps on my mio not the full software as obviously my N97 is symbian and my mio is win ce 4.2. GMXT still works fine on my N97 just detail map not working on my mio 268

I have tried "gmapsupp.img" and "gmapprom.img" neither of which will show up. Garmin is working ok and the base map is fine, just no detailed map. if i look in settings it shows up as an unlocked map on my sd card but will not show on the map screen either through browse map or navigate screens.

could it just be that the garmin version on my mio is too old to read the new detailed map?

any suggestions would be appreciated.

It's really bad that I could not download Venus-CN-China-750-ENG-qsi, since I could never access both damipan.com andmegaupload.com.

Could anyone doing a favor to upload the files to Rapidshare.com? Very much thankful!
