Previous Garmin MapSource not found error fix

Dear CatyMag,
I've installed the Mapsource program successfully. But when I tried to run it, an error message saying "problem in Family823 installation. reinstall family823 & start mapsource again". Can you help me resolve this? Please.

Dosent work i have tried it a number of times and still get the mesage to reinstall, but thanks for the post

uninstall mapsource and delete from registry
current user and local machine garmin folder and reinstall mapsource
