The fact is that under Garmin Spanner mode, Colorado 400 could connect to PC as a external GPS, which works fine with Google Map and nRoute, even Garmin Mobile PC can show satellite signal of Co 400 but not no other functions.

Thanks for information, didn't know that.
If Mobile PC is connected with Colorado, only problem can be that program is not unlocked.

Files "sw.unl" and "gmapsupp.unl" should be placed together with "gmapsupp.img" in Mobile PC installation directory (C:\GarminMobilePC).

For generating sw.unl file use code from Mobile PC -> Settings -> About -> Software Unit ID.

Use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to generate code and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for writing unl file. In keygen select Garmin Mobile PC from drop list.

Thank you for reply.

Last night I've generated the sw.unl file by the tools you mentioned, and tried the software unit ID and Colorado ID, none of them work, do you think this will be the keygen issue?

The error message is
could not authenticate garmin GPS hardware

So I think it's not related to maps, but the device.

Garmin MobilePC Special version 5.00.60

This modified executable will let you use MobilePC with _all_ your Garmin USB GPSs via USB, you don't have to buy GPS 10x or GPS 20x anymore!

01. Install Garmin MobilePC using MAIN.msi
02. Run MobilePC
03. Choose "Yes" (Did this purchase of Garmin Mobile PC include a Garmin GPS receiver)
04. Choose "Done"
05. Choose "OK"
06. Choose "Skip"
07. Choose "Yes"
08. Choose "I Agree"
09. In Settings -> About, take note of your Device ID
10. Click "X" in top right corner to exit X
11. Start patched кεygεn(use the latest к3yg3n v.1.5
12. In top box, enter your Device ID
13. In "Select Product" dropdown box, choose <Garmin Mobile PC> and enter Device ID
14. Click bottom "Generate" button & copy key
15. Start Notepad, paste key and save to c:\GarminMobilePC\sw.unl

Hi,
sorry for the noobie question, but I don't seem to be able to find the answer:

I would like to install "Garmin BlueChart G2 Vision VEU704L France" unto a Nuvi 550.

I saw that the map is available to download from maps/105110-garmin-bluechart-g2-vision-veu704l-france.html, but how can I install it once i have downloaded it?

It is an IMG: rename it to gmapsupp.img
unlock using jetmouse keygen v1.5
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

to get the sd card serial number-from 4 to 10 digits
push the battery indicator for 30 seconds>next>next>on top is the sd cards size and next is the serial number you put on the top of keygen v1.5
--if your gps doesn't give you a sd serial number---you can use the gps unit id number
create a file you must name gmapsupp.unl with notepad
(no txt ext, save it as all files)
and put it with the map into the garmin directory of your sd card.
