if you unlocked 2010.20 with garminunlocker without first running reverse converter-
then you have removed the search(no find) and routing data---use keygen v1.5

if you move a gmapsupp.img into mapsource you will remove the basemap and routing data---you will need to zoom way in to see the detailed map---don't do that--

Hi, I am new to the forum, so I hope I am posting in the right place.

I recently purchased a Garmin 755T, and was wondering how to install the JCV and 3D on my SD card. I like to keep my new mpas and extras on the SD rather than internal memory as it is cleaner and much easier to undo if something should go wrong. There was a similar question near the middle of this thread but the response was not very clear.

I split Garmin maps, unlock, merge it.
but the file reduces in size by 200+M. Is it normal? I have never done so.

But what is the proper procedure? for __basemap/gmapbmap.img and __qsi /gmapsupp.img ? Is there a guide ?
I tried to use reverseconverter. but it said folder doesn't contain convertable maps. And in what Caty replied, it seems that I have to do it with a Garmin terminal. How can i do it with a computer only, and make these maps available to a mobile phone?

Hi,

As I understand You want to convert NT map to Non NT format which You can convert to We-Travel format map With MapGenerator supplied from WT developer.

With MapReverseConverter You can convert map to be used with older 6.13.7 version of MapSource, but You will NOT get fully Non NT compatible map which can afterward be converted with MapGenerator to We-Travel format.

For conversion to We-Travel format You have to use NATIVE Non NT maps.

if you have a IMG file and you want to install it in a symbian phone follow this guide, but you must use with Garmin, all these maps wont work on wetravel app

Is there a way to make use of Garmin maps on Android?
I have one HTC Android console. Finally I found non-Garmin maps are really of poor coverage in CHina.
