GMapTools gives error

Program start.

You are trying to use the file copied from Navicom update site. This file is coded and uncoded by setup program after device ID check. W/o custom convertor your file is useless.

You can use Winhex.exe for the conversion.
Open the original image file, type CTRL+A (select all), CTRL+T, choose "XOR", put value "FF" and process. After that you need to change ASKIMG to DSKIMG in the file header.

This web site is great site compared to similar ones
I have a question ,no one has answered .Why ,what ever I do, brown flags via point symbol cannot be changed to something smaller in nuvi 1410. I can change waypoints to black dot,but nothing happened to via symbols in the device. I used WINGDB,an Mapsurce. Any body can help please?

probably it's an issue that comes with the last SW v.5.30 , you can try to reverse to the previous version

so i did what you have said "winhex

but i didnt understand the part of "ASKIMG to DSKIMG in the file header." "
could you explain it to me please?
i would use this "NT" map for Nroute or mapsource. (the map comes unlocked.)
