CarteBlanche Ukraine - the first and the best routable map of Ukraine for Garmin GPS navigators!

CarteBlanche Ukraine installs electronic map of Ukraine downloadable to Garmin GPS navigators of those models that support map loading.
Cartography database of the product currently includes detailed city maps at 1:10000 scale of 30 big cities such as Kyiv, Boryspil', Brovary, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovs'k, Donets'k, Irpin', Ivano-Frankivs'k, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmel'nyts'kyi, Kirovohrad, Luhans'k, Luts’k, L'viv, Mykolaiv, Obukhiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sevastopol', Simferopol', Sumy, Ukrainka, Uzhhorod, Yalta, Zaporizhzhia and Zhytomyr plus general 1:200000 coverage for the rest of Ukraine.
All Ukrainian names are transliterated into Latin for your convenience.
The map, particularly, contains streets, European, national, regional and local roads, railways, rivers, streams, lakes, parks, forests as well as cities (points and contours) and points of interest (POIs).
The number of POIs is about 17000. This includes food and drink, lodging, shopping, banks and ATMs, transportation, petrol stations, car repair facilities, border crossings, landmarks, churches, museums, cinemas, theatres, pharmacies, hospitals and more.
Many points of interest include contact information (street address, phone number and zip code). This applies mainly to restaurants, hotels, banks, airports, railway and bus stations and other objects that are most important for travellers.
CarteBlanche Ukraine software provides enhanced search capabilities through the whole map by name of the cities, points of interest as well as streets and intersections. You may narrow the search area by specifying city/district and/or region.
While the overall map size is about 49 MB, it is split to 25 pieces ranging from 1 MB to 3.6 MB so that you can load to your GPS only those areas that you really need.
The map includes 7 layers to provide optimal detail both in your GPS and PC on different map scales. The map contours correspond to the international border of Ukraine to avoid overlapping when using in GPS together with maps of other neighbour countries.
Road labels have been added to make the map more readable. The map also supports search by alternative (old) street names.

To install CarteBlanche Ukraine product on PC you need to have Garmin MapSource software pre-installed.
