Edda Tracker is a service where an agent is running on a device (e.g. mobile phone) and reports positions to a server. The agent gets the positions from a GPS receiver which either is part of the device or is externally connected (e.g. via Bluetooth). The positions reported are stored on the server. Through a web-interface ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) one can view the positions (which is called a track) in real time by using MS Virtual Earth. The agent uses the Internet to communicate with the server. The web-interface is also used to manage the account, devices, and tracks.
