Now all Yandex.Maps options, like house and street search, traffic jams in Moscow, Kiev and others cities are available

Mobile Yandex.Maps is compatible with any phone that supports Java MIDP2.0, and with any device supporting Symbian .
In other words it is compatible with any phone model issued starting 2004.
The application uploads only relevant segments of the map, which minimizes the volume and the cost of data traffic.
Besides all options of the "desktop" version, when using a GPS device, mobile maps will show user's location and direction.

Connecting the GPS-receiver to the phone for use in Yandex-Maps

Below are instructions to connect the GPS-receiver for mobile devices . It is assumed that the GPS-receiver is
switched on, and the program Yandex.Maps on your mobile device is running.

Mobile device , Symbian :


in Yandex.Maps go to «setting» and select «find GPS»;
Wait until the program to scan the Bluetooth-devices (usually takes less than a minute);
select from the list of found devices, GPS-receiver. Usually it is called BT-«numbers and letters»;
open «setting» and select «Mount GPS».
