Thread: Garmin Syria and Lebanon maps + New Lebanon mapsource (Detailed Unlocked) upd. 21-11-08

Hello all.
Am really so thankful for this great post which was really helpful in many ways.
But these s still a problem, I have a nokia E71 device to which i installed garmin 5.00.4.
everything is working fine even the maps of middle east. But when it comes to lebanon map it's givin me a hard time. I downloaded the source map ,installed it also installed mapsource application. The map is working great on mapsource, but after uploading to my phone and opening the garmin application, it says no map. It s really becoming frustrating. So please anybody has a clue of whats goin on.

The maps can only work on a Garmin nuvi.

I have the Garmin software working perfect on my E71 with Nigeria's Map.
I dowloaded one of the lebanese maps from the forum here already which is .img file
What do i have to do now to make lebanon map working without removing the nigerian's?
i already copied lebanon maps to Garmin folder in my E71 but nothing happened.

But it's done now already

So how can i install a second map on my E71 without loosing the one i'm using.
