    Default login and sync issue with tomtom my drive tomtom go40

    Hello and please can someone help or advise with my tomtom40go.
    I am unable on my sat nav to log into my tomtom account on the gps, and therefore unable to sync with plan.tomtom (my drive). It all worked fine a couple of weeks ago.
    The sat nav will connect fine to 'my drive connect', infact I just recently updated the maps ok. My email on the web page i.e. my drive, on mydrive connect, and on the device are all the same and therfore on the same account. When I try to login it says on the gps unit 'Oops we are having trouble accessing tomtom services' message appears. Tried several times over the last week.
    Did a soft reset and nothing.
    I tried another computer and cables and still not working.
    On the advice of Tomtom support today I did a full reset. Still nothing, but now have lost all my poi and favourites from the unit.
    My tomtom account is still accessible and ok, just the gps unit will not connect.
    Can anyone advise please. Ive looked on here and the net but not seeing anything relevant.

    ps all software is up to date and antivirus switched off

    Update.......... Ive done another full reset and is now working again. Strange ?
