I got the impression that the problem is in the hardware (oscillator/chips), and no software will help you there

Garmin Alpha 10 TT15X regional restriction removal
Afternoon Folks,
I sincerely apologise if this has been answered before, I did a check but I'm not sure if I know the right terminology to search. I was wondering if there is there any way to remove the regional restriction on the Garmin Alpha 10 (purchased in the US) to utilise in the UK along with the TT15X collar (purchased in the US). I understand there is a frequency issue, but is there any way to open it up to all bands?
Appreciate any guidance you can provide.
