Garmin Drive 51 Cyclops will not show up

Hi, I got the Garmin Drive 51, which has protected firmware. I patched it with Universal Firmware Patcher without any problems. It read and load the latest unlocked maps without a glitch. But it will not read and accept Cyclops safety camera. The file is unlocked, and I tried to decrypt it with three additional tools. Still nothing. It has a USCanadaCyclopsSample file for the year 2020, which is working, but any new file that I install, doesn't show up. I appreciate any input about this.

The US model comes with speed cams.

Have you tried Garmin Express to get the speed cams??

The question was about installing an unlocked speed camera. Yes, it has old cyclops from the year 2020, but I wanted to upgrade. If I am able to install unlocked maps on Garmin Drive Line and they work perfectly, I am hoping that the speed camera will also work.

So what you are saying is you have made no attempt to use Garmin Express to update the speedcams.....

If you are having problems with getting unlocked speed cameras to work regardless if you have patched your Garmin Drive 51 so maps will work.

Please note USCanadaCyclopsSample have never been locked that is why the work with no problems at all.

But you want up to date ones then try using Garmin Express...... you just might get new ones that work.

I know that Garmin Express will update my red-light cameras for a price. I want it for free. In addition, I never use Garmin Express. For software updates, I use webupdater, which is friendly and doesn't snoop. Garmin Express will pull everything from your unit, and I am sure it will know that you have an unlocked map and modified firmware.

None of my North American Drive/DriveSmart devices came with a LifeTime Safety Camera Subscription ,what they came with was a sample ( USCanadaCyclopsSample.GPI ) pre installed ,Garmin does include a LifeTime Subscription for Europe ,Australia & New Zealand and South Africa from what I've seen.
