Two question:
1. it works in in all skins (including Arimi Nextgen) or only in Pongo skins ?
2. A second "yellow" version will be possible?
Best regards !
Hello,
Here is a ux "A_DA_TMC.zip" which can be used on the "Luna" version but also on the "Nextgen" versions prior to Luna!
Just add "A_DA_TMC.zip" to your Luna or Nextgen ux folder for it to do its job.
I thank "Pongo" for making this ux compatible with both versions!
Have fun ...........

@apascu
Normally this ux works with all skins. But I haven't tested with other skins than "Pongo".
Regarding your second question, I will see according to my free time!
I tested on Arimi and was any change in DA aspect. I will try again most carefully (cleaning things).
Thanks a lot for your work !
Best regards !
I tested again creating a new save folder and can confirm that works good !

It works for me without this utility on global_cfg, which I offered in all skins, including Arimi...
Spoiler: Arimi skin:
@batiskaf
Of course it works with the global_cfg that you propose.
But the reason for creating this ux is to be able to use an original (unmodified) global_cfg.
Of course, everyone does what they want .............
We are changing the original anyway, making the correct information for some countries, and, frankly, I don't see the need to chase after new global_cfg releases, because almost nothing changes there...
P.S. why overload the UX with additional utilities that duplicate files from global_cfg, driveralerts and tmc, when you can use 3D global_cfg or if you don't like 3D icons, then global_cfg with default svg...

Concerning the new modified MULTI global_cfg.zip 3D concept and after testing it, I found out the below.
The default Driver alerts (DA) and TMC icons
which are under global_cfg.zip\images\da\ or global_cfg.zip\images\TMC\ folders and follow the naming da_def_......svg (Alain's white 3D road sign images) or tmc_...._default_.....svg (Alain's images again)
are visible in road sign menu and settings.
But country specific DA or TMC icons (e.g. da_gre_......svgs or tmc_...._gre_.....svgs) which are located in the same folders are not visible
• while navigating or
• in settings menu .
I just wanted to confirm that the Greek road and traffic signs included in the MULTI global 3D cfg zip file are visible in iGO Luna. But this is not the case.
It is more than obvious that the DA and TMC country specific svgs that are included in:
• original UX Driveralerts.zip & TMC.zip,
• Alains A_DA_TMC.zip
• my N_GreeK_mod_UX.zip
have priority over the ones located in this specific global Cfg.
So there is no reason adding them in the MULTI Global 3D cfg.
I don't know if the same applies with the DA and TMC svgs of the other countries, but I really don't see any difference in the country specific configuration files like
driveralerts_....icons or tmc_list_....icons, etc.,
which are responsible for the visibility of the TMC and DA signs per country and are included in this MULTI Global 3D cfg.
Same thing is with the original not modified global_cfg.
Having said all that I agree with Alain’s view. It’s a matter of taste.
We have to live with original zip files (as they contain the basic software code) and if we want to change the icon appearance we can do it by ether
• modifying original files or
• keeping the original files as they are and using a new additional modified zip file which will contain all of our changes. Like Alain’s zip.
First solution needs some effort by us as we have to deal with it every time a new version of the original zip files is available.
Second one looks to me the most painless as our additional modified zip file/s can contain all needed changes like modified svgs and files that are most of the time standard in file name and structure.
So no change at all or the very most of the time. I also think that there is no matter of overloading iGO with many zips. One or couple of zips more (which they will concentrate all desirable changes) doesn't do any harm. It is tested an no difference at all. Even for a blink of an eye.
Global_cfg (original or new modified) cannot be our reference modification zip file as it doesn’t work with country specific DA & TMC svgs. At least for Greece and for the time being.
In my opinion global cfg falls into first workable solution. It seems to me like an original zip file that looks good to be handled by an additional file, which will contain every desirable modification.

Is it iGO Luna skin by pongo?
Are you using the Greek map?
How do you test the Greek DAs?
