Go to Settings → Experimental Features → Enable 3D
Activate 3D by tilting the map with a 2 finger drag. Deactivate 3D by returning to a bird's eye view.
Download 3D maps for offline use. Select “Offline 3D Terrain Data” when downloading a map.
