    That is interesting. I both downloaded our version 3.1.48 and the Play Store one and both do not contain bicycling and walking routes. So Tomtom deleted it. Why?

    @RioGrandeBlood,

    You will need to take it up with TOMTOM.
    There is nothing this forum can do about it.

    If the Mod version does not meet your requirements then there are many other GPS app that do a better job for Walking,Hiking and Bike riding.

    This form has a good list of them here to try.

    From the TomTom forum:

    Yes, we have decided to remove these 2 route types, and below you can find reasoning behind it:
    GO Navigation is optimised for car navigation. With our latest map technology we can’t guarantee optimal routing for cycling and walking and therefore we have decided to remove these route types. In addition, these route types are being used less than 0.5% of the time by our current userbase.

    @jdebx,

    Just to clear things up the quote you posted is for TomTom GO which is a paid subscription.
    As Tomtom NDS is a free service for users in South America with Toyota cars.

    Both seem to have the same versions numbers which would confuse the issue.

    But with the lack of any info on the TomTom forum it is hard to get any feed back in regards to TomTom NDS version.
    Maybe if you use VPN and show you are in South America you would get some info in regards to TomTom NDS on the TomTom forum.

    But both versions have dropped the Bike and Walking from their apps.

    The new NDS and GO differ relatively little. I dare say they are mostly identical, so that their functions mostly coincide.
    Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    .... and assumed the reasoning for removal would be the same for this version..... why wouldn't it.
