Note: No luck with virtual sd and Basecamp 4.5.0

Virtual SD with ImDisk 2.0.5 (and probably other apps) works normally in Basecamp 4.5.0 on WINDOWS 10

(no luck in Windows 8.1)

No, Imdisk virtual nuvi doesn't work with GE in my 7 x64

anyone know how to create the Virtual sd on another drive?? EG my laptops harddive is partitioned into two drives and want to have the VSD on my d drive not c drive...

Open Command Box
mkdir D:\VirtualDisks
cd /D D:\VirtualDisks

execute command to make virtual disk.

Or use the program JaVaWa Device Manager to create and maintain virtualSD images.

Hello all in the forum need little help

Last version ImDisk working in Win7 x64

In ImDisk

Alt+N -> select imig file from dir L:\Garmin\Gmap3d_2021_10 -> selected Drive Letter :Z -> OK

Asked for format Z: Drive ??? not allowed -> Cancel

Open HomePort try "Receive from Device" -> "Theres no Devices connected to HomePort"

How to load image file or open virtual Device in Homeport like SD card?

If I allow format new voulem Z: FAt16 (default) it will be blank and cant copy *.img file to it

Hello everyone,
Can someone confirm that this works with Basecamp 4.7.3 under Windows 10?
Because for me, Basecamp does not detect the virtual disk (30GB, FAT32).

My ImDisc (version 2.0.9) virtual disc works fine for me in Basecamp 4.7.5 under Windows 10.
On the disc (25Gb, FAT32), the maps are in a folder named Garmin for Basecamp to see.
