    Default Tom Tom Installation guide

Here's a partial translation from an Italian forum

on how to have TT6 running in your phone:

Use your memory card reader and your pc to work this out...it's faster and easier than using NokiaPC Suite and USB / BT connetcions...

At the end of the transfer you need to have in the memory card (E) of your smartphone these folders:

    E:/ private
    E:/ raster
    E:/ resource
    E:/ sys / bin / TTMOBILE.EXE
    E:/ tomtom
    E:/ voices
    E:/ zip

In addition the folder containing the maps, i.e.:

    E:/ IT_plus_major_roads_of_WE

The map folder contains, by default, the following files (obviously, if your map is different from "T_plus_major_roads_of_WE" some file names may change, but not their extensions):

    - cline.dat
    - cname.dat
    - cnode.dat
    - faces.dat
    - IT_plus_major_roads_of_WE-010d6df8.mac
    - IT_plus_major_roads_of_WE.mid
    - IT_plus_major_roads_of_WE.mms
    - IT_plus_major_roads_of_WE.pna
    - mapinfo.dat
    - MapSetting.cfg (this file saves the places inserted by yourself to navigate, if this file is deleted you'll lose all names in the list "navigate to,..." from your Navigator)
    - poi.dat
    - tmccodes.dat
    - traffic.dat
    - traffic.inc

Depending on your phone, you'll find the Tom Tom icon in one of these folders:

    - MENU

    - PROGRAMS

    - FAVOURITES

If it is not in any if these folders, you may have made a mistake in the installation process, or you have installed a non-compatible version of Tom Tom.

    Thanks to the author...

PS by me: When I did it, I first sent the .sis file to the phone, installed it, then put the MMC in the MMC Reader, and copied the other files as described...
    This works...
