It looks like I can chose any voice without problem, But I'm still cant here the voice I have sound in my system because I listen to ipod while navigate and should work as before the GPS interrupt the sound to guide me through the road but did not happened ?
I don't know where is the problem ?
Heres my system.ini setting for the voice:
[local]
voice_key="english_m2_us"
voice_path_hint="voice\Voice_Eng-us-m2 - Dave v1.1.zip"
language_lcid="1033"
language_key="english US"
lang_path_hint="lang\Lang_English-us.zip"
And in the sys.txt:
[sound]
use_os_volume=1
os_volume=255
Thanks.

The only way you get sound when audio player(usb or sd card mp3 file) running, with ipod or bluetooth you are not gonna get sound, i don't know why
My system power-acoustic-p-81acrd connected to ipod, I used to hear the music while the navigation is running and the system mute the sound when navi guide speak to turn or whatever instruction and after that music continue to play after muted this in my old system.
After I use the new iGo cracked one not the same scenario dont know why !.
Thanks for your help.

My setting are exactly the same as QuerkyBV states above. I had the same problem with the .bmp. I deleted all but english file. Mine has USA selected, but does British male voice. Took a nice long trip to the boonies listened to music player no problems. Voice interrupted right on Que. Excellent accuracy. As stated in my post I am using the external speaker supplied. When I first started using my N-81ACRD I had forgotten to hook up the aux to the glove box input which I am using just for the media player and bluetooth music. Phone comes through small speaker all of work flawlessly. I believe when I first started using this program the speaker was muted. Small speaker on display with red line through it. Hope you get it going it is dead accurate.
Yes my system connected the same way yours does, To make my self clear about any problem with connection I format the sdcard and use my old navi backup files and hey its working and no problem with the sound. With the new navi I tried to mute the sound with little small speaker on the left side on the screen and I turned back on with no sound at all. The way should work when I go to setup region to change the voice I should hear "have a nice trip drive carefully" in my case I don't hear any sound when I try to change from Amy, Jason or Dave package.
Did you change any setting in the sys.txt or system.ini files?
Thanks.
Hi, I followed the instruction, When I plug usb beside sdcard slot and play music I got sound on the navi don't know why?
That mean I can't use my Ipod and gps on the same time should be plugged usb so the GPS sound work. Now I have to copy all songs from Ipod to USB.
Thanks to all helped me out (qwertybv and JamesTo).
