I assumed it was a mistake right there.

You have not understood and applied the first 4 steps that you proposed @zervdim at post #57.

    - Folder iGO8 which is now located on the external memory (F: ...second link - the second picture.), Should to replace (cut / paste) on the internal memory (E.

    - Now you need to read (only read, do not touch anything! :D ) the steps 4 and 5 ...

    - So, now you understand - when starting your navigation, will actually start using total commander who'll in the future run any .exe ... in this case, you should go to the internal memory, in the folder iGO8 and there you need to doubletap on MobileNavigator.exe.

I do as you said. You were right. I read wrong on the downloaded file to be on the Internal Memory not on the External Memory.

So now i copied iGO of External Memory to the Internal Memory and i DO NOT changed the name of my Internal Memory iGO folder to "XXXXXX" because that not allows to run the software.

At this time i have the total commander running when i startup my Becker but when i'm about to double tap the MobileNavigator.exe ( on Internal Memory) it says once again: "Content Error: global_cfg not found"

Here's some pic i took and some SS:

    - Are you have global_cfg.zip at this destination: My Flash Disk\iGO8\content\global_cfg ? ...if don't, then download one newiest from forum, paste him on the top destination, delete folder "save" ...and try again.

It's all ok now. When i try to run MobileNavigator.exe ( on External Memory) it works good and that was the all point since the begining. I thank you all for don't giving up on this. I was helped but i think all will become too. Sorry for the something.

i just have 1 final question to set this a side:

Do i, every time i reboot or shutdown (and lock button don't work anymore on this iGO version), need to select again the MobileNavigator.exe ( on External Memory)? Can't i just select permanently?

Thx once again all of you!

In this scenario, you must use total commander as intermediaries. But now that you have a backup of the original files and you know that you can using Total Commander for running any navy applications, you can feel free to experiment.

    - Solution is perhaps the file autorun.inf ... and maybe even replace the file iGO8.exe (who is now in fact renamed tcmd.exe), with another file iGO8.exe that will in fact be renamed .exe of navy application that you want to use ... this other solution could work out with the intervention on the sys.txt which would indicate where are all the necessary files.

Now you've solved the problem, and for the rest, search and read the forum.

    Regards

    Hi guys,
I've been using this version for a few days and all seems to work fine.

Quick question is there any way to get overspeed warnings when using TTS same as the primo?

    I'm using Loquendo 7 voices.

    Regards

Have you open Overspeed Warnings in menu?
If yes then you will get overspeed warnings: "You are overspeed, speedlimit is 50 km per hour"

This sentence is inside info.ini in each voice file, Text to Speech just read it from map....
It dosen't needed to add sth in sys.txt!

    hello,
i'm a bit confused since my WINCE EONON D5168Z has 2 microSD card slot and one is GPS dedicated only while the other is for music or video files...
So should i want to "unlock it" for allowing windows CE desktop access can i tweak it with Totalcommander like explained by Rimasi89?

Keep a BACK UP of your software SDCards and for your Internal memory, and play-try by yourself what have been suggested in this post....
    Also see this video:
