Just for a start, make sure folder names are map & building (singular) not maps & buildings (plural).
I am new to IGO and am running into a problem.
Chinese EONON D5153 touch screen Stereo, DVD and GPS unit. It is supposed to be running Windows CE.
I have an 8gig Micro SD card which I formatted in Windows on my PC.
I downloaded IGO8 for Windows CE. Unizpped and copied to the SD card.
I downloaded US Maps Buildings and POI Q2 2014. I unzipped, and copied the maps I wanted to the maps folder, buildings to the buildings folder and POI to the POI folder, all on the SD card.
I put the card in the gps and it asks me for the file location. I navigate to the Navi file and select OK. The GPS starts loading then reboots and just cycles. While its doing this, the radio is still playing music. I put the card back in my pc, and clicked the Navi file and it extracted something else, so I copied those files to a clean memory card added the maps and items and it does the same thing.. I thought I saw a tutorial on setting it up, but can't seem to find it now.. Any help would be appreciated.

Try deleting the save folder.
Thanks for the replies. The folders were singular, and I deleted the save folder. Same issue. It gets stuck on map loading, then reboots. I let it run for a bit to see if it just needed to configure, but still no luck. The map folder has an original basemap file that came with IGO8 - Basemap_NIMA_2012.03_130903.fbl . The additional map files are from Q2 2014. Some are fbl files and some are hnr. Is there a specific naming system for the map files?
What version is it, really?I downloaded IGO8 for Windows CE
If it is truly iGo 8 (prior to iGo 8.3 and about 10 years old or more) current maps will not work and older maps that may work are probably not available any more.
I would try a more modern version of iGo (at least 8.3 but a current Primo aka 9.x or 2.4 version would be better).
Looking at the crash log on the memory card, it looks like its looking for navi.map. My file is navi.exe..
Look in the software info......
or version 8.0.xxxxx or version 8.3.xxxxx
Maps and other files, for 8.0.xxxxxx version, are dead in the year 2010......
This version doesn't work with the new files and maps
EDIT :
Read now your last post......
Maps folder, buildings folder and POI folder, should not be placed directly in the external SD !
Esternal SD >> iGO folder >> Content folder <<< and here Map, building and Poi folder....

Thank you.. originally, the root of the sd card had folder igo8. Then the directory structure and all files and folders were in that. I removed the igo folder and put the file structure into the root of the sd card. I will put that back to everything inside the igo8 folder.
Is there something else that is needed besides the main application and map files needed to make it run? I'm not worried about bells and whistles yet. I want to get the gps software running then I can add extras..
In CONTENT folder there have to be at least these folders
