Thread: GTM36 and GTM26 problem with TMC on nuvi series 2xxx and 3xxx

I would like to enable a very basic function in 2595 (HWID 1371 US): Traffic. For some reason the information from traffic are not loaded and the receiver (two GTM36 and one GTM26 tested) can not initialize properly. Firmware version is 6.40 (the last) and Webupdater work ok, but without traffic files. Someone could tell me if the 2595 has the file trafficprovider.xml or other traffic files and, more importantly, where is this file? The structure of files and folders seems a little different from other Nuvis and that access to the internal memory is limited. Curious that it is not recognized as removable storage drive, but as Portable Device. I have a sneaking suspicion that it may be some kind of Garmin block for some regions where only a few models are sold with official traffic...
