No I didn't do a hard reset, I just cleared the Nonvol Statistics, upgraded the firmware and upgraded to the latest NA map.
I will perform a hard reset and play with it again. Thanks.

Clear non vol or hard reset must be performed after any firmware flashing if you dont want to have problems, remember then to reabilitate Mass Storage mode.
You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Thank you, this is exactly what I did.
I am now trying to use the Text message feature and I am suppose to see a text icon under the phone button on the GPS but it isn't there...
Are we missing some files?
All three consortium member must suppose the Text message feature - Navi, phone and you. Do you sure in your phone?

Yesterday friend and i try different procedure of flashing and we found out this.
If you flash from 37xx to 34xx and you dont clear nonvol satellite accuracy is 3-5 mts.
If you clear non vol and then flash 37xx to 34xx you have satellite accuracy problem.
My friend (bpb) flashed 3790us/3760us to Asian fw and found 3790 got poor sat signal.
Which model did you flash to 34xx? 3790 or 3760 ?
I usually didn't clear non vol before flashing but I offen clear non vol after that and I have no problem for sat signal. (3760-->34xx)
