Any chance you would like to give an option on the next version for the user to be able to make edits to libgarminos.so and other files after opening and before patching? This could involve a checkbox for the user to also keep the temp files around for later use after the program is closed. I'm set up now for rebuilding, signing and aligning but maybe someone else will come along that might like to poke around with making patches but not be familiar with some of the required tools.

I am open to ideas on adding new features however the Streetpilot Path Changer 2.8 doesn't involve any rebuilding as apktool does. Instead, it uses 7zip to extract the apk, opens the .so, does in memory patching, saves, zips up the apk, signs and aligns it. So you only get to edit the .so.

The previous SPPC [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] had more of a manual process, check it out if you have not done so yet.

I tried SPPC 2.8 with StreetPilot 2.37 and the Warning screen appears for less than a second. I don't know if it is meant to work this way but the truth is that it didn't bother me at all.

Nice this new feature you added flagmax thank you very much !

The Warning patch does exactly that: sets the clear page timer to 1 millisecond. Some devices do flash the page, others don't. Maybe moddie or kunix will find way to really disable the warning cleanly. Thanks for feedback as always.

It's definitely possible to make the warning disappear completely. You just create and push the main menu page instead of the warning page.
But the patch will be much more complicated and also there are several places where the warning screen is created and one could miss one such place.
Personally I don't like this way.

Keeping the patch to set the timeout to 1 millisecond and adding a patch (for version 2.37) at 0x4DE314 from 0C E1 22 EB to 09 00 00 EA introduces a jump over the addition of the title, text and button widgets to the page resulting in display of a blank page for those devices that display the page for one millisecond. Now if I could find where to set the color of the blank page, I would change it to black instead of dark gray.
