vandjoe, Ellinas, Titanic52, and others; Thank you for your input. The demand meter has been triggered. We just have not wait and see now. Please no more posts of v2.35 800x480 requests.
atomantmk, check post #1.
It works. However, it seems that the settings and language is not saved. When I exit and restart, it always asks me to pick the language again, and I have to change from Miles to KM. Anyone else have this problem? It's installed on a Galaxy S5, rooted, path is:/storage/extSdCard/Garmin. The SDCard is writable.
After 2 starts with good satellites signal, it should remember your Language setting.
thanks #flagmax
- /storage/sdcard1/Garmin/ : running well on android 5, note 2 with namelessrom
- cgpsmapper map is more stable (not know caused by new street pilot or lollipop), np fc, but if switch to another application, something street pilot need to restart
flagmax,
works on a Samsung Tab S tablet with Android 4.4.2 and screen resolution 2560x1600, not rooted.
Only slow screen redraw when zooming out (i use it to look at a Topo map).
I used the "/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/" version.
So I use my internal memory for storing my cards.
Can you also make a version for "/storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin" so I can use my SDCard for storing the maps?

I am glad to know it works even with resolution as high as yours. Topos have lots of stuff to draw, maybe thats why its slow. I've update post #1.
Before i used SP2.33 and there was an icon Garmin Language there you could install a lot of different text languages, its missing in 2.35
I use a Nexus 5 with lollipop and StreetPilot_2.35pi22_sdcard0_signed.apk the program itself works ok but i cant change text language only American is there.
Any solution?
@kalleh: Yep. Read post 1 a bit more carefully.
Quick question...on my Nexus 5 with 5.0 this works great in portrait mode, however switching to landscape cause the software to be upside down. If you landscape the other way it flips the software back upside down. Any quick fixes?
