Basemap gmap format, routable, with DEM -- can't be uploaded to GPS,PC version for Mapsource/Basecamp about 100MB
put the folder in Garmin map folder
    (in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps)
    (in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\maps)

What are the latest versions of the various Garmin basemap files. (American Lite / American Standard / Autoroute / Worldwide etc. ) I presume the Worldwide Autoroute DEM Basemap 4.0 would be one of the latest maps. I am looking for a none DEM map
    Thanks

Full zoom in, full zoom out, the same thing. Only white background and major roads in region.
My nuvi 255W works great with both those maps.

Maybe nuvi 760 doesn't support DEM (Digital Elevation Model) rendering.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Is just my imagination or actually the oldest WW DEM version 2.00 has better resolution than the new ones (v 4 and 5)?
