Am I missing something or is there no separate download link to Garmin's site for the junction view file?
Well I downloaded all the stuff and read a bunch of tutorials and apparently I'm not smart enough to figure this out on my own so I guess I'll wait for some nice person to take pity on me and upload an unlocked img. kthxbai.
I explain in few simple steps:
1-Install Basecamp
2-download Pc install locked from post n1 and install it
3-download [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
4-Copy "UnLock MapSource.exe" in .gmap directory and run it as admin. (C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps\City Navigator North America NT 2015.10.gmap)
5-connect nuvi to pc
6-open Mapinstall, select the map and send to device
I think you are smart enough and better than waiting .
You have to navigate to get to the good.

My virus protection isn't letting me unzip the mapunlocker. Has anyone else come up with this problem before?

Your antivirus software just isn't capable of scanning compressed files probably. The file is clean, so get another AV or disable your current one temporarily while you extract the files from UnLock MapSource Directory v5.0.rar.

Bigger problem, Got everything done. moved my old map image and 3-d map off the device. That is 2.4 gb. I know this because its on my desktop and i just checked. Somehow there is only 1.83 gb free on my device. So now I can't install the old maps back or put the new ones on. Anyone ever encountered THIS before?
Update: Nevermind, unplugged it and plugged it back in and it now reads the correct free space. Installing maps now. Also Neil, I have to turn my virus protection off to use mapunlocker, otherwise it gets quarantined as soon as I try to run it. Maybe you ought to check just to make sure.

It's clean. What's your AV? One of the free ones or McAfee i guess.
