no luck on 3597HD always restarting a nuvi

Origin of the device: official Thailand device or from other country
Firmware: version and language
Map: version and language (dual or Thai only)
JCV: version, filename, resolution, is it created by GarminAsianJCVTool.exe?
Locations: coordinates of the locations where JCV does not work

Lastly and most importantly, keep everything the same except replacing the JCV file with the corresponding official unpatched JCV file and see if you get the same or different results. If different, can you upload your patched JCV file for debugging? Thanks.

procedure: (Tried on both English and Thai interface)

1. NUVI2595 (US Firmware) used 2013.30 DUAL MAP Unlocked + patched JCV (THGLB.JCV) : can display jcv's images at a crossroads correctly. (on original jcv shown pirate copy)

2. NUVI3597HD (US Firmware) used 2013.30 DUAL MAP Unlocked + patched JCV (THGLB.JCV) : on the junction nuvi will restart. (as same as original jcv)

So the restart problem happens on the original unpatched JCV as well. It looks like a firmware bug or incompatibility issue to me. You can only hope Garmin to release a new firmware to fix that.

um... North America's JCV had no problem.

Try to use CN North America NT 2014.30 map with the D3478100A.JCV (or D3836070A.JCV), these JCV files have the same format as Asian JCVs.
Will restarts occur in this case?
