    I tried it with my nuvifone A50 (SG), it shifted

    Thanks for testing, sd.kfz.7. From looking at your screen shots, I suppose you are commenting on syzygy's venus shift-corrected version. I am seeing the same magnitude of shifts in basecamp. The shift for the uncorrected version is of course even larger. I have some saved waypoints from Hong Kong, and I notice that, when using the shift-corrected version, as I zoom-in, the waypoint moves; i.e., the distance (between the displayed location of the waypoint, and where I believe the waypoint should be) decreases from 300 meters down to about 25 meters at the closest zoom. I don't remember seeing this moving waypoint behavior in the Venus maps for China. I wonder whether you see the same "current location movement" on your gps in Hong Kong when you change the zoom level.
