    Default Auto Drive Hellas v1.99Τ

    Auto Drive Hellas v1.99Τ
    Released (03/12/11)

Version 1.99T is the first version of AutoDrive Hellas that fully supports traffic information. Owners of the specific Garmin devices (nuvi 12xx, 13xx, 14xx and 37xx), can have traffic information on the display of their device, provided that they get the accessory GTM 35. Traffic information includes delays along the route and suggestions about alternative routes. Traffic information included in version 1.99T refers to Attica (expect Attiki odos).

The service of Garmin Traffic is free of charge and no subscription is required!

In the nuvi 1490t when you select from the menu the traffic map view the map turns pink. Is there a way to change that?

Has anyone tried to use this traffic information function with other models(e.g nuvi 205)?GMT 35 is combatible with most nuvi models so I cannot understand why this map works only with nuvi 12xx, 13xx, 14xx and 37xx series ,according to the company.

The map works in every compatible with "On The Road Maps" Garmin device with or without FM Traffic or any other device with Garmin navigation software. About FM traffic, Nuvi 205 is combatible with FM traffic & with GMT 35 cable, if you want to get an official answer so you can clarify this, you must make a call to Digital Tracer Electronics using the number you can find in Auto Drive's update & download page.

Thanks Santosan for your response!I've already called them and they replied to me that traffic information function works only on the nuvi models refered to the official release of 1.99T.I found this strange and that’s why I asked If someone –who possesses a traffic receiver cable- has tried using it with other models.Hopefully a friend from the forum will test it and give us a specific answer

Don't believe everything they tell you on the phone!. I have a nuvi 1490t and a gmt25 which was coming bundled with the device and with lifetime support for various european countries that have tmc. autodrive's tmc worked correctly with the 1490 even if they told me on the phone that it doesn't work. I can see the traffic and can see the delays even with the gmt25. It seems that they still don't know exactly what to tell to the people

Very good news armitatz. Either they didn't test it or they want us to buy the GTM 35....who knows....

The gmt25 as can be seen here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] has lifetime traffic support. Probably the gmt25 that was coming with my device has inside the european codes. The gmt25 has many versions ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) so depending which one you have, it might or might not work in the area you're in. I bought my 1490t in greece so it probably is a good version.

I think they recommend the gmt35 because they know that it is working for sure with their tmc. Either way it is better to try every receiver to see if it is working.
