There are often some demo JNX files in the BirdsEye folder on the device. Perhaps one of these has become corrupt.

Hi,
on booting my 64s I get a "invalid JNX file" error, I know these are my way points and routes, the problem is which one? Is there any way of checking which one is causing it, or do I just have to copy them one by one, then power on each time? That is going to take forever!
Thanks in advance.

I deleted those long ago as they weren't relevant to where I am.
I have tried deleting them all, then transferring again from base camp, I have also checked by double clicking in base camp too before transfer, still the same problem! Looks like I'm going to have to spend some time and do them one by one *yawn*
Has your Birdseye subscription expired? If so and you try to send anything from Basecamp to your device, you would get that message.
It is important to back up files from gps after you have sent them (copy the .jnx files back to another folder on your computer). These files have already been unlocked for your GPS and will continue to work even if your subscription expires. But once the subscription expires you can't send Birdseye from Basecamp anymore.
You have to navigate to get to the good.
