SD\Garmin\gmapprom.img (unlocked with gimgunlock)
SD\ Garmin\JCV\D30601x0A.JCV (You must use the JCV file from the same map version:2015.30 map+2015.30 JCV)
Check that no other files are on the USB drive.

Make sure the USB is formatted to FAT32.
If downloading the "unlocked" maps, your unit still asks for a key, use Jetmouse and create an unlock code with the FID of the map and your unit id. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Insert the USB and it should start reading files. It reads and then says it find an update. Then it gives you your unit number and says to go to a website for a key..
Use Jetmouse and FID:xxx to generate code. the unit should accept and starts the installation.
when installing reading file could take anywhere from 15 mins to over a hour to read depending on USB stick (I would buy a fast one for this ) make sure your Nav is not active (don't make that mistake to keep it in direction mode.)
Once the install is done it will might say PND updated then it will say maps failed don't worry the maps loaded ( I think this is because the software is double checking for maps name which should be OEM maps name version.)
To check if the JCV file is installed: If you go into engineering mode, developer menu, and then file browser you can see the actually name of the JCV file installed.
If you have a 2011 or 2012 (early builds of the radio) you need to downgrade the firmware of the radio down to 23.xx.xx or update might not work.
33.x.x iso here:
As far as I have experienced, the highest update available for a 430n is 2014.40.
The 2015 maps give an error that they are not compatible.
Same experience here with 2011 Chrysler Town & Country... RHB radio never updated past 23.4.41 software...
Would not recognize 2015.3 maps, but took 2014.4 maps with NO PROBLEMS!
As I understand it, you have to backdate your firmware to at least 33.01.23 to install maps above 2015. I'm going to play with it some more, but I'd like to find a source for firmware 51.00.09 which is what I'm currently running on my 2015. Obviously, if I backdate the firmware, I'd like to at least be able to update it to where I'm CURRENTLY at when I'm done updating the maps. This may not be 100% correct, but it's the theory I'm currently working with anyway.
Did you ever figure out how to update/install the maps for the 51.00.09 firmware? I just purchased a 2015 Jeep with the 430N RHB unit. It has navi "capable," but is not installed. I'd like to figure out how to unlock it or install updates myself, but dont want to just start installing backdated firmware files.
