Fatal Error occured in main thread

Hello,

I get this error when I put more than 300MB worth of content.
I am using a Win CE 6.0 emulator for testing on 800x480 and 256MB RAM and a unlocked Mio Spirit 7670.
I am using Primo 2.4 with the PrimoTruck2015 pack (the only one that worked for me).
I downloaded some other packages like the Civic Reborn but it gives the same error with the base content (no aditional content added from me)
Content that I am using iGO_HERE_Europe_2022.Q4.
I am new to WinCe navigation solutions and it seems like i can't overcome this roadblock so your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Boki. I know it is a lack of memory issue. I tried the Kia pack and it is better but still, the size of the content can't be larger than 500MB. Is there any workaround that would make Primo not load all of the maps at startup, something like a map switcher that the user can switch between regions? I really don't want to use multiple SD cards for multiple regions.

Mio Spirit 7670 is a pretty capable device. It can handle a lot of content.
My ancient Prestigio, which has a 300 MHz CPU and 64 MB of RAM, with Primo KIA handled about 500-600 MB of content without any problems.
Unfortunately, maps have grown a lot since the period when WinCE devices were dominant.
Rather, I would say that you made mistakes on the other side.

I don't know which shell you used for unlocking, but each of them can be made "lighter" by removing unnecessary components.

Apart from that, several other things are very important about iGO itself
- only one (or two) language and voice files
- only two licenses for P 2.4, but Primo 2.0 requires only one
- without redundant speedcam files
- no overlapping hnr files
- well adjusted sys file
- light DEM
- Primo (any) does not recognize fjw files, remove them all
- and of course, you will not put the whole of Europe, because it is certainly impossible to go through all the countries

All this is mostly mentioned in the note in the tutorial I posted

Minor tweaking, in the sense that the device's storage memory keeps a smaller region where you mostly travel, and you put an additional one on the card or few that you plug in as needed, also helps.

I used the FactoryTest method to unlock it but for now, let's concentrate on the emulator itself. I have it running with 256MB (more than the mio i think) of memory. The Civic pack is pretty light by itself with minimal content. No skin, one lang, one voice, one license, no DEM, no speed cam files and no hnr files as well. And still no more that 500MB worth of maps. Here is my sys file, all is default, just changed the gps to auto:

The emulator has physical limitations. It is impossible to work with content larger than specified.
And it was mentioned in the emulator thread.
If you want to test, you have to on the device
Or, you can use iGO8 for Windows PC. But, of course, it recognizes fewer content types than Primo beside fjw.

The topic I linked have proven verified truck package with proper truck adjusted sys ...
