    May be interesting...
    I just updated 3790 and compare gmapprom.img with file from rutracker. They are not the same.
    Compare 34xx.img & 37xx.IMG
    0000000F: F2 D6
    00000024: 50 5E
    0000003C: 09 0B
    0000003D: 16 00
    0000003E: 2C 27
    0000003F: 0D 34

    @Fa_Piter

    bytes 39-3F:
    7DDh = 2013
    01h = 1 (January)
    09h = 9 0Bh = 11
    16h = 22 00h = 0
    2Ch = 44 27h = 39
    0Dh = 13 34h = 52

    So the first file was created on the 09-Jan-2013 at 22:44:13 while yours one - on the 11-Jan-2013 at 0:39:52
    GMAPtool could help to make it clear for sure

    As for the first two different bytes - i don't care. Maybe a checksum or something else.

    On the Garmin 2460 is not the outlines of buildings. Voice control works, and does not paint houses.

    Go to Garmin Navicom Roads of Russia v.5.29
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    This map is more suitable for Garmin 2460 because it contain outlines of buildings in main IMG. City Navigator Russia NT 2013.40 Navicom require additional gmap3d.img file for showing the outlines of buildings but this file (format of data) is not compatible with your device.
    All the more so Roads of Russia v.5.29 is more actual then City Navigator Russia NT 2013.40 Navicom. You have nothing to lose but you stay in a prize only In addition, You choice is ID1280 it work on all old device without problem.
