Some more info:
In addition to the traditional cartography in scale 1: 25,000, the new product includes spatial data of regions of Northern Italy (Piemonte, Lombardia, Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna and Liguria) also Tuscany and Sardinia. The higher level of detail in these regions has been made possible by the fact that they have made available to Garmin their CTR (Technical Paper) and Topographic Data Base in scale 1: 5,000 and 1: 10,000
In the rest of Italy the coverage is provided through data in 1: 25,000 scale waiting for other regions make available their map data.

The map also contains about 150,000 km hiking network with high data accuracy and reliability (all with GPS instruments controlled by specialised personnel) available, as well as the territorial offices of the regions mentioned, even by some sections of the Italian Alpine Club, the tourist offices of the provinces concerned, and by several national and local Parks.
The new map is completely "routable" on road and off-road vehicles *, i.e. the user can follow the signs turn-by-turn your GPS's moving on roads, tracks, paths and trails. In areas covered by data regions, the network of "white roads" is over 470,000 kilometers, with extensive coverage of the territory.
*(only on devices that support Active Routing).
Points of interest included are over 1,100,000, with the names of places (even small ones) and isolated buildings on the mountains outside the residential areas. Add to that the possibility of finding addresses in these settlements.
*SQL is a database for Active routing ,it shows you individual route suggestions for recreational activity and provides more specific functions in the planning activity in Basecamp and in some GPS devices.
