    If I get a chance I'll try this tonight. I think I still have the SD card prepared with V10 so shouldn't take too long. I might just run from the card after resetting and see how it goes - if all good then I'll install.

    Did factory reset as suggested and ran v10 from SD but system rebooted after about 5 minutes much as before. No traffic reports received but neither were there on v9 after about the same run time. As stated above Passat RNS315 with SW 0319 and HW H59.

    Just had another 40 min drive with no reboots.

    No traffic reports received, but don't know if this is a software issue or there really were no traffic reports.

    These are my full settings.

    How is your idea going? Have you run any traffic updates yet?

    If you are happy with no re-boots any more I will give your factory reset idea a go.

    I updated on V10 and without any problems, no restarts.

    I used V10 from SD card and had reboots. Might have to try the factory reset. Navigation data shows 0068, SW is 039 and hw is h52

    Navigation data shows version 0068 because you use V10 map from SD card only (= you have in internal memory V8 map).
    If V10 map is loaded into internal memory shows version 0070.
    I don't know SW version 039 ... maybe your typing error ?

    For four days I didn't have a single reboot, then this morning had 3 in 20 minutes.

    Looks like my factory reset didn't fix it.

    Installing V9 now, which was provided free of charge from the seller where I'd bought V10. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Not. Having read this post I ran from SD. Rebooted. At least it makes testing a fixed release easier.
