On the SD card you have a cryptnav folder where there are navigational data. Create a new folder, for example, MP3s and save music there.

Ty Peter, does this mean that there is no installation on the radio right? It is just plug the card on it and it is ready to work, right?
I have 4 laptops and none of them I can change the CID because it only show the / dev / sdc** not / dev / mmcblk***
Is it so difficult to find a laptop to do it?

You need a notebook with an integrated card reader. This list is being tested. It was written about it here.

The RNS 310 does not have a separate HDD. So all the data is on the SD card. Navigation: cryptnav and navigation data in it. And as I wrote you can create a mp3 file where you will be saving your music.
Notebook needs to be found somewhere. Help google.

I have no experience with this Lenovo THINKPAD R61i. If you have the opportunity to test it.

Hi, I think I managed to do it with an old hp pavillion dv4000. The card itself was not the Samsung you are talking about but other. it was a MB-MPBGC (google it) of 32GB class 10 UHS1 Made in Korea. It has 3 years old so it will not be easy to found. I could change the CID with it with success and in a few days I will tell you if the card works or not!
Above all thank you very much for your all contribution and feel free to ask for help whenever you want.

If you have a laptop and ubuntu on USB, you can see if the laptop is suitable or not. But it's surprising to have changed CID and it was not Samsung microSD.

Probably misunderstood. It was Samsung sdCard but not evo + 64gb. Change CID goes to 16.32 and 64. And even to SD.

Np my friend, yes it was a Samsung Microsd card but not a +.
Maybe if you have an old Samsung card on your house u can make it a try. Mine worked flawlessly to change CID.
