    Hello All.

This is a fantastic post. I don't have a CID writable SD-card, will I still be able to use my standard SD-card to update my map if I get the correct password for locking it?

If this is the case I would be so happy if someone could provide me with password for my card CID: 00300041505053440012800007011601

    Thanks.

    Hello again.

I can't get my PC to lock the card. I run the locking commands and it writes time-out just like described, but afterwards I can still read the content. Could this be due to a noname card/bad card? I tried on 2 different PCs with equal results.

    Hi,

Try with different card. Take any original card and try to lock on your pc. if it will not lock, it means that something wrong with your pc or os.
There are a lot cheap chinese cards that do not conform SD specification and doesn't support locking commands.
