You have to buy the Samsung evo + 64gb card (no one can give you the guarantee of the CID change, it must be 2015/2016). I use evo + 64 GB. And I happened to find home Samsung 32 microSDHC (gray writing Samsung and blue writing 32GB and changing CID

Ignores the error messages if they are some, especially this:

"ioctl: Connection timed out - Could not read response to SEND_STATUS from /dev/mmcblk0"
Do not be disappointed - everything is alright!

"ioctl: Connection timed out" - It is a proper report from the system
    - when you lock the card, it is immediately invisible to the system
and system report, that can not connect to SD card !

"Could not read response to SEND_STATUS from /dev/mmcblk0"
    - also right - system could not read response on query on the status from SD card.

Remove and reinsert SD card to check lock - when system not recognize, so its locked.
    Try in a car.

i have a problem, please help:

    RNS315
Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS 32bit - fully installed (not just used from flash drive)

    I bought a good evo+ 64gb card.
    Formatted the card to fat32
I changed the CID - double checked, and I am sure I didnt mistype any characters.
I checked the new CID - it was OK. (the new cid was absolutely the same as I typed - so the last two characters was "00" too.
Than I copied the dir "navpsf_update" (of course with all the files - only V8 EAST ~3,00 GB)
checked again the CID - still OK
than I locked the card, and I double checked the password.

Nothing recognizes the card (WIN, Ubuntu, Android...) so I think it is really locked.

Now I tried it in the car, and "can not read SD card" - or something like this appeard.
I tried 2 times, and it was the same.

I tried the original v7 card, and it worked fine.

I really dont know what did I wrong... somebody knows? Any tips? thank you!

    thanks for the quick reply!

    I use Win7 64 bit.
There is no chance to format this card from windows to fat32, only ntfs.
So I used "Mini Tool Partition Wizard 10" to format the card.

I bought the card as used card. It was exFAT.
So I deleted the partition, and formatted with the program mini tool partition wizard.
I think it was a fully format, but I am not sure...

Use Guiformat.exe utility for FAT32 (ask google). Work on 100percent.
