If it's your friend than you can grab a beer with him while you are testing the phone. It's a win-win situation

I was tried about 5 cards. Kingston, sandisk, and soo on (not EVO)
So when I try to read the original CID, I cant.
when I type "df" i see the "/dev/mmcblk0p1"
but when type "cat/sys..../cid - it shows me nothing.
I didnt find anything about this problem on forum
So any idea why I can not see the CID? thanks

To verify CID, use the command: cat /sys/block/mmcblk0/device/cid.
I am in this amateur but I had such a problem only if I did not follow the exact command and it is very important to keep a gap.

That was the problem: the little gap.
Thank You, and greetings to Slovakia!

    Hello guys,

Just want to share with you that i have suceeded to unlock an SD Card using an Android Phone (Honor 8 and Huawei P10) by simply using the Factory implemented "Unlock SD by Force" feature - I am not sure if this function is available on all Android Phones ! The SD Card was formated but at least I am able to use the SD Card again. Old Nokia phones not needed anymore

    Erghhhhh
I just bought a Samsung Evo+ 16GB card, and I can not change the CID
    Writting new CID
and "connection time out ioctl" - or something like this...
It is too much for me for today...
Am I really need to buy a 32 gb card or what?
