    Default VDO Dayton software help

Hello, i wonder if you can help me ?

I have just purchased a 2005 Nissan 350z which is fitted with a VDO Dayton PC5510 navigation system, the car is originally from Germany and is now in Portugal.
The current operating system is C-IQ MO5595 and the map disc is EUR2005/01.

The problem I have is that i am constantly getting the message displayed " no access for the country you are contact c-q for access code which I have tried to do without success.

I wondered if you have a more recent version of the map and software covering western Europe available that is compatible with my system and how much would it be.

    kind regards

    Andy

    hey Andy,

the last version of the software was 0980 on the MO5598/MO5712 disc:

alternatively you can use a modded version of the firmware disc which contains more languages (password is **************).

either way I suggest to burn it with Clonecd or Alcohol120%

Once you have updated your unit you will need a supercode to unlock your unit as the pay per use C-IQ system went down around year 2008 (this is the reason why you cannot contact them and been replaced by the flat rate/one off fee Supercode system. You need the unit specific supercode which is based on your 8 character NAVI-ID. You can either phone up tomtom/navteq/vdo/continental or alternatively I can get you the code for a nominal fee (PM me).

Finally you need some maps and the latest (and probably last) map version is here but links are reportedly down:

probably you will find a copy @ GPS underground too (site down at this moment) or some other sites.

Edit: map links been renewed by Boxer2
