You found it in a car? Seriously? I know how to sort the unknown PIN problem but you'll get no help from me or anyone else here with an explanation like that. Wanna explain more? Still won't get my help sorry.

Previous car owner probably appreciate the return of it.

I agree. What if he accidentally left 100,000 in cash in the glovebox, would you also feel ok to keep that? The principle is the same, if you didn't buy the car with the understanding that the GPS was included you should give it back. Clearly it wasn't part of the deal or you'd have simply contacted the seller to ask for the PIN code.

Well, everybody moral standard is different. If the previous owner can't be contacted, then you've won a nuvi760. I once found a dead squirrel in a car and tried to contact previous owner to return it but couldn't. So good eating it was.

Liar! That squirrel chewed its way into your attic and you shot it. I hope you broke a tooth on buckshot.

It was a distant cousin that was in the attic. That one was old and stupid, but the one in car was young, tender, tasty.
BTW, can't shoot weapon in city, but a good BB gun with a single shot to the eye, will do the trick.
