I copied everthing to the SD but I don't see any icon either under GPS or Programs folders.

Is there anything else I need to do???

    Thanks!

    First post!

This caught my eye, so I thought I'd try it. However, I get an untrusted software found on memory card message. Changed dates on PC and Phone. Bit Puzzled - whats the next step?

Everything went fine, but even after a very long wait, Tomtom is not connecting to GPS, eventhough I selected "BiNPDA GPS". It is just showing a message "Connecting to GPS device..." and nothing happening. Please help....

This this do work, i have a n95 and it works with the internal gps.. seems like all the required files are on this thread but people might need some direction to install it.
just do as the tutorial belows says you to do.. if there are some files missing or any questions towards this then just ask and i'll try to help.. please try this before asking for more guidence..

    Installation Notes :
    1) Install 1.bt.sisx. Run it. It should say "Device added"
At this point you can also uninstall it - it is no longer needed.

    2) Install 2.GPSd.jar. Run this prior to starting TomTom

    3) Install 3.tomtom.sisx

    4) Copy the TomTom folder from the 0.Copy.To.MEMCARD.Root.rar
to the root of your memory card.

    5) Run TomTom. Choose Yes when it asks you to switch on bluetooth. Go to Change preferences, Show GPS status, Configure, Other Bluetooth GPS receiver, and select the BiNPDA GPS.

    * You need to change the preferences every time you start tomtom. It won't remember that you were using the internal GPS*

    * If you need to switch from internal, to an "external" receiver, you may need to click on "tomtom receiver", and then "other receiver" to get the list of devices again.

Enjoy this Release.. Many Thanks to BiNPDA Team.

    Thank you for your reply.

I’m using N95 8gb. I followed exactly as you wrote. Firstly I run bt.sisx and it did showed Device Added. But when I start GPSd, after running “bt” the following is showing:

    Latitude
    0.0
    Longitude
    0.0
    Clients
    0
    Error
    None
    Debug

    Any help please?

just go out and wait outside with oyur phone and wait for awhile.. it usually takes a little time and specially the first time... after the first time it usually connects faster.. just go out side and have tomtom and gpsd open and just wait..

Many thanks for your reply again.

This time my 'GSMd' worked and it is showing signals, but when I try to connect BiNPDA GPS with tomtom, even after two hours, it is showing "Connecting to GPS device..." and nothing happening.

    Please help.... thank you.
