WIN CE Tomtom Win CE versions

These files get constantly deleted, no matter what hoster I try, so this time I packed all files into one single archive.
Download the archive and unpack to a folder of your choice.
After that you find the archives/files listed below - unpack what you need.
Sorry for the trouble, but I can only try to keep them alive...
    Spoiler: CLICK

Your device is not compatible with this version of TomTom Navigator - Use this if you get the error with the same name
TT 7.915.9196 - this archive contains all 7.915 versions I have, unpack and then unpack the version of your choice to your device
    TTN7.916.9192_VGA_Black__no_BT
    TTN7.916.9192_VGA_Black
    TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Blue__no_BT
    TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Blue__no_BT
    TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Blue
    TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Black__no_BT
    TTN7.916.9192_QVGA_Black
    TTN 7.918.9193
    TT_Navigator_Black_7.918.9193_QVGA
    TT_7.916.9189_VGA_WVGA
TT 7.916.9192 all versions - contains all the 7.916 versions for those that want to play around so you only need one download for all
    TomTom_7.918.9193_VGA.oem
    7.918.9193QVGA
    Manual english - Tomtom7.pdf
    Manual german - Tomtom-Navigator.pdf

All versions are map patched, so you only need an activated map to get going.
Check the forum if you need help with the install.

    VGA = 640x480, QVGA = 320x240
    Black/Blue = the color
The Rar archives need to be unpacked to your device, you device should be able to handle the CAB files directly for the installation.
I still think TT is too outdated on Win to be considered first choice.

As far as I can recall there is a SD installer for CE, not 100% sure if it works only for 5 though.
Out of memory is usually a sing of an incorrect installation for the precedure on the CE4.2 devices.
CE5 and 6 can use the normal versions from the 1 posting, but you need to choose the right screen resolution for your device.
If you do a Google check for the SD installer you might be lucky, otherwise I can only say:
Use the correct version, start once without a map to generate the bif file, add the map activate and it should work. If not delete all and use IGO

You have to use version 7.910 and you have to use a mortscript with setmem in order to fix the memory allocation at boot. In addition there must be a route in the mapsettings.cfg file or that will also cause the memory error. You'll need to run it to get the bif file and possibly make a cfg file using an emulator. It has to be for the exact same map and TT version for it to work and create the mapsettings.cfg file.

The above versions I think are only for win mobile not CE. I helped a friend with his chinese GPS unit in his car and we eventually after much hair pulling succeeded..

I'll copy his MC and upload the files and mortscript for others and expalin

Why does anyone want TT for any CE version?
To be honest the software is not only outdated but also slow and problematic on many devices.
You no 3D features, no computer voices and only the most basic types for the map.
I know some like to look and feel of TT, but consider alternatives like IGO, Primo, Papago and so on as the development of the TT CE application has stopped many years ago.

It does not really matter if CE5 or 6, TT is outdated and other programs are far better and offer more features, like IGO for example.

Thanks, if you've got the hardware makes sense to use it if the latest maps can be be put on it. (Best not to leave your latest hardware in the car in case it's nicked)

In particular there are still a lot of Mio 168's around which started off with WM2002 and had to updated to wm2003 to run TomTom reliably. Only v7.450 can be used so please remember these if you ever update the upload.
