1. 8398 & 901 truck is still the last rock solid version BUT a) the map is way out of date & b) very few people actually see routing problems and those that do just learn to live with them as map data is always out of date anyway
2. yes mapshare is fine with TTHome (the only thing you can't do with TTHome would be "Operate my Go" which is, after all, just an emulation mode; nothing more, nothing less
3. 540/550 are good choices
4. my pre-patched 9701 4th attachment in [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] includes everything (voices etc) rather than just the original/official unpatched .cab files
