Biggerdave, downloading of 2Gb 9.701 & 925 Truck at FF is very slow and at Rapidshare it dosn't work.
I need only the Navcore. I have already the map.

Schwan1, I have downloaded the navcore (and the patched system) , but I have no experience with patching.
The BL-version on my TT is 5.5022. That is for me oké.
What have I to do?

Is it still the case that the routing on 9.701 TRUCK navcore is somewhat glitchy?
I was considering grabbing a GO x30/x40/x50 off ebay to replace an old ONE v3 model; the standard maps have routed them down a few tight spots when towing a caravan.
It's my understanding that TRUCK navcore + map is needed for the "vehicle type" option.
For a TRUCK map is it possible/necessary to get Map Share updates through TOMTOM Home or does this not apply? I've noticed the sticky "my truck map corrections" post.
Likewise do I add LoquendoTTS voices, ZIP, etc manually by copying over the folders or go through TOMTOM Home.

To update with tomtom home can be done in the forum post as there are plenty of home patch etcc. do a search.
Regarding the purchase did not buy any of these can not be messing.

I've currently got it running navcore_9.170_SE_ONE_XL which makes it somewhat better.
I'll be sure to not purchase a navcore 10/11/12 device.
I was thinking that a 540/550 would be a good model - SD card slot, good car mount, and the choice of LIVE subscription if he wishes.
He can also get the RDS Active Dock or USB traffic wire if he chooses.
Good to know that I can update with HOME.
I'll patch the TRUCK navcore with FastActivate as I'd do with any other navcore.
