    Default Navcore 9.485

Since there is a new Navcore out I, once again, offer them prepatched and ready to use for most models.
Make a full backup of your current system using Windows Explorer before changing anything!!
All include the skinchooser and quickfix downloader in the menu, tha last only works with live devices or if you have your mobile connected and set up.
All versions include all possible emulations, so be careful what emu you choose, by default it start in the native mode for your device.
To change the emulation select the skin chooser on the last page of the menu,
select the emulation of your choice and confirm with a double tap in the center of the screen.

What are the different versions for :
GO version is for all devices of the GO range and the first choice for all other too if you need a full menu with all options available.
Memory boost version is for devices with only 32mb Ram, like the ONE series.
Memory boost and Hardwired sound (HS) is for devices with 32mb Ram that stay silent when a computervoice is used.
HS only for 64mb device like XL Live in case they stay silent with a computer voice.
XL version is the last resort for XL and XL Live models if all other fails.

    Tipps and tricks :
The available emulations are stored inside the file "reskin" in the folder "skins" - you can edit it with a normal texteditor but make sure not to save any file extension.
In case your device freezes or has a reboot loop with a new emulation it means this emu is compatible.
To solve it replace your current reskin file with the one from the archive,
edit the line and remove the emulation that caused the problem,
try the skinn shooser and select a different emulation.

Memory boost versions will start slower and might have some slow response times after the start, this will go away after a few minutes of use.

The fullbackup is created from my device and has Katrin, Kate and Susan as computer voices included.
Several fun voices as well, but you need to activate some of them.
I also replaced the mctx.dat file with one that works with my TMC antenna and the available stations.

This version is for all X10 models that have problems using a different version/Navcore.
With the V9 NC's and the 900 maps users reported that their devices won't accept the map or freeze.
The above version should fix that problem
the instructions are the same except that I included a 5.5120 bootloader because many users ended up with incompatible versions during their tries.
If you still use an untouched TT with the 7.9 NC and never played with other Navcores rename the file "system-5.5120" to "system" and reboot.
In case your BL is already higher than 5.5128 you rename the "system-0" to "system" - this will downgrade your bootloader to the 5.5120 but it will show as zero, follow the previous step to get the version number to 5.5120.
A full Loquendo system is included with the English Kate and US Susan.
Inside the folder "ephem" you'll find a program to update the QuickFix data without the need to start Home.

Added a worry free installer [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] that includes all the above versions.
In case you don't know how to register at tomtest.net to get premium links, you can find the installer in split files for free user here : [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
The installer is also available as a torrent, download the torrent file [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and open it with your favourite torrent client. Please seed and not only leech!!
Simply download and start the EXE - there is no Virus or malware in it (but feel free to check anyway !
Depending on the speed of your system it will take a few seconds to unpack the temp files and start the installer, so be patient.

Password is genrated by default and always the same.
Since the file is working here fine and noone else complaint I assume you used the wrong password (maybe CAPS) or have a corrupt download.

It is neither necessary nor allowed to make doubleposting in the hope to get a faster answer.

Please check the instructions in the first posting,
go to the 895 map thread, check the map charts and download the maps you need after checking that a meta code is available,
unpack the archive of the Navcore to your SD, do the same for the maps you need,
make sure the map files are their own folders but not inside a sub folder,
use FastActivate premium or any other current tool to activate the maps - the Navcore is ready to go and does not need patching.
If in doubt for the tools, use a tool that allows to use your meta.txt and copy all the meta codes in it that a listed together with the download of the map(s) of your choice.

Sorry, it's sad that every link I have clicked on in this forum is dead, so I removed the like.. Why forums insist you like something before you test it is beyond me.. Why cant people just use a site like hotfile or rapidshare that is no hassle..?

I don't know where you clicked, but I can assure that all useful links are working - and if they don't the general way is to report a broken link by PM to the uploader.
Usually a dead link is fixed then within a day or two.
RS is useless as the files will be deleted in a few days, hotfile is used by some uploaders.
You can not force someone to use a specific hoster for the uploads, be glad that people share the files at all
It is hard enough to find hosters that keep files alive long enough to use them - this is especially true for IGO related files and new maps in general.

Well, I'm sorry if you misunderstand me, as I generally dislike those that use the word FORCE.. I cant see where I even made such an attempt.. I think what I was trying to say, is that it would help many people if the files offered were actually accessible, even if for a short time for someone like me to host them on an ftp, and even better if in english.. I reckon it's safe to assume that since the post is in english, that the poster can create links we can actually identify..? Ah.. usable link's.. I like it..

Anyway, links are useless, due to being in a foreign language.. are they still working?

Ah, so after getting a friend to transl8, I have found the links link to other links.. the first offers part 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, but when I download, from zippyshare.. am I downloading part's or single files? damn why cant people use their heads?

Ps, sorry for my confusion.. it's a virus..

Now How to identify which is which from first post..

Ah well, I gave up, more hassle than it's worth, but thanx for the effort..

Well, reading can be hard at times....
The links are not in a foreign language, maybe the link protector side shows something other than english.
But even than there is only one box on the websit to enter a password, and clicking enter after that is not too hard.
As mentioned on other occasions: there is always Jdownloader for people with problems finding the right spot to click or that are just noobs and never downloaded much anywhere.
Simply copy and paste the link - done! JD takes over, asks for all passwords, captchas or similar and starts the download, you won't even see anything else
The links are explained in terms of what version to use on a device, so again no real problem here.
damn why cant people use their heads?
If you use yours now you will be able to download whatever you need
