Best idea is to use a different NC that works on a Start.
This is the downside of saving a few bucks when buying a GPS, a Go730/Go720 is still the best TT model for users that don't want to pay for maps and want a full featured device.

Works on TomTomOne V3 but not with complete menu. It is not possible to choose Skins. It is not possible to chooce Lane Assistance, and when driving you don't see Traffic Signs. That is a pitty. Maybe you can build a version for TomTom One allso? Thanks Kajoe

It works like a charm on TomTom XL V9. Thank you very much.

I have tested it completely on GO 920 ( Device is from 2007 64 bit)
    Works again perfect.

Now loaded. Gives about 9/13 MB free, seems fast to start/shutdown. But, is there a way of avoiding the TT message "It is your responsibility to observe safe driving practices...." at every startup?

Also cannot use patched "Fuel Prices". TT want to collect 'some information about your use of this navigation device' and, with 'Information sharing disabled' it don't work; with 'Information sharing enabled' it does, but I don't fancy giving our location info away, having read the detail.

Nope, all that is what TT calls "improvements".
But I don't see a problem in the sharing as you did that all those years without complaining - the only difference is : TT now asks you if you allow it, with any other NC TT simply does it

OK, I'll live with the 'improvements' and allow sharing. Didn't know that TT 'read' my/our device(s) regardless.

PS, Just switched device on, warning re driving no longer there! Doh.

LOL, it only appears after a full shutdown or after you've been connected tto the PC.
Since I included the suicide.dat the device will always turn fully off after I think 15 minutes.
If you don't want that simply change the seconds in that file or delete it.
Be aware that not all devices will go from sleep to off resulting in a flat battery after a few days, so check first
