Well I can confirm the TomTom GO 910 is in fact still capable of receiving map updates. Its 20GB HDD means TomTom would have to come up with another excuse to remove its map eligibility (probably CPU/RAM or something).
Also, unlike the GO 920 it never got a NavCore update past 7.903.
...Well that was shortlived. Opened TTHome today to update my Go 910 to be greeted with a message saying its now too old to buy maps. Logging into the website confirms I can no longer purchase new maps for it. Just what I have remaining on my subscription.
...Anyone else found a Navcore7 device still supported? If not this may very well be the end of NC7 capable maps...
Can anyone with a Go 920 confirm if its suffered the same fate?
You can always upgrade your navcore to run any map you choose (you know where;))
I know I can update navcores on actual TomTom GPS (have already done so on a few), but I also own a couple of indash units that run WinCE TomTom, and as such will only ever support NC7 maps.
