Those three examples actually have the same attributes but differ only by country/region/continent coverage.
eg 8507 covers the Europe maps, 8508 covers North America and 8509 covers "the rest" like Africa, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Asia etc
Hi,
Can anyone please shed some light on the multitude of map version numbers.
It may seem silly, for an experienced TT user, but I have no clue what the difference is between the various 995 maps for instance.
Is there any difference at all between say 995.8507 (which I have installed) and 995.8508 or 995.8509 ?? Are those latter two newer (higher number might suggest that).
According to the map version compatibility picture elsewhere on this forum, there is no difference in ALG/ASR/TTS/HNR etc etc.
Any insight would be appreciated
Loodi

Biggerdave,
Ah, thanks !!
So I will never find a Benelux map with 8508 or 8509, that explains a lot..
Now I can stop worrying about that
